Triple C Arena, Panguitch
As a western town, Panguitch puts a lot of stock in rodeos (get it?). The Southern Utah Shootout Rodeo combines stock broncs, bull riding, and barrel racing for a weekend full of rodeo fun. See the best cowboys and cowgirls in Southern Utah come together for one of the biggest spring showdowns on the circuit!

Green Valley Raceway Trail, St. George
The Red Rock Rampage is one of the oldest mountain bike races in the area. The course features a seven-mile loop that spans 1,000 feet of elevation and some of the most challenging terrain on the bike circuit. The race is open to amateurs and professionals alike, though the course is difficult. The race draws large crowds to soak up the spring sun and excitement each year.

Every April we say hello to spring with the Brian Head Resort Spring Carnival! This winter send-off event features fun competitions like the cardboard sled race, the bikini slalom, and the classic pond-skim. It’s a great way to celebrate the changing seasons and get in some last-minute snow action.

A short drive from Brian Head, St. George is known for its vibrant artistic culture. The annual Art Festival brings over 100 local artists to showcase their best works in a downtown weekend event. The Utah Culinary Fest happens in Cedar City, just a quick drive west of Brian Head. This week-long festival celebrates all things delicious by featuring cooking classes, farm tours, and food tastings provided by local restaurants, farmers, and chefs. It’s the perfect way for foodies and culinary tourists to get a real taste of Southern Utah cuisine.
